Start playing the music
and adjust the microphone
volume. Press MIC ECHO
repeatedly to adjust the echo
effect.

Start singing along with the
music.

Notes

• Karaoke mode is turned on when the

microphone is connected.

• If howling occurs:

— move the microphone away from the

system.

— change the direction of the

microphone.

— lower the microphone volume level.

— press VOL – to reduce the volume level

or press MIC ECHO repeatedly to adjust

the echo level.

• Microphone sound will not be transferred

to the USB device during USB transfer.

Using Vocal Fader

You can reduce the sound of the vocal

in stereo source.

Press VOCAL FADER repeatedly
until “FADE ON” appears on the
display.

To cancel Vocal Fader effect, press

VOCAL FADER repeatedly until

“FADE OFF” appears on the display.

Note

To use the Vocal Fader in the CD or USB

function, turn on the Karaoke mode by

connecting the microphone.

Changing the key (Key Control)

Press KEY CONTROL

/ to suit

your vocal range in Karaoke
mode.

Enjoying music with the
Speaker Lights turned on

Press SPEAKER LIGHT.

The Speaker Lights are turned on.

To turn off the Speaker Lights

Press SPEAKER LIGHT again.

Note

If the illumination brightness is glaring,

switch on the room lights or turn off the

illumination.

Using an optional
equipment

Connect an optional
equipment to the AUDIO IN
L/R jacks on the unit using an
audio cord (not supplied).

Press FUNCTION repeatedly
until “AUDIO IN” appears on
the display.

Start playback on the
connected equipment.

Adjust the volume.

Adjust the volume of the

connected equipment first. If the

volume level is still too low, adjust

the volume level on the system

using VOL +/–.

Note

The system may enter standby mode

automatically if the volume level of the

connected equipment is too low. In this

case, increase the volume level of the

equipment. To turn off the automatic

standby function, see “Setting the automatic

standby function” (page 32).
