Changing the port number

Use the EPSON Net! utility to change the parallel port number for

the remote printer as follows:

1. Enter the number for any available port in the Port No. box. The

available settings for Novell NetWare versions 3.x and below

are from 0 to 15. For Novell 4.x and higher, the available

settings are from 0 to 254.

2. Click Save to save the port setting.

Enabling/disabling Hunting

You can use EPSON Net! to turn the Ethernet Card’s Hunting

feature on or off. When Hunting is on, the interface card connects

to the first available unassigned active port. This feature is useful if

the Novell print server has many printer ports. To change this

setting, follow these steps:

1. Click On under Hunting to enable the function. The default

setting is Off.

2. Click Save to save the setting.
