Chapter 2: Hardware Setup
Start Up Your Synology NAS

Connect one end of the AC power adapter to the power port of the Synology NAS. Connect the other end to a
power outlet.

Connect at least one LAN cable to one of the LAN ports of the Synology NAS. Connect the other end to your
switch, router, or hub.

Press the power button on the front panel to turn on your Synology NAS.
