Click [Canon DR-C240 USB] and click [Properties].
Scanner properties are displayed.

Click the [Maintenance] tab and then clear the [Turn off
automatically after 4 hours] check box.

Click [OK] to close the scanner properties.
Removing the Document Feed Tray
When you will store or otherwise not use the scanner for a long period
of time, remove the document feed tray.
