SERVICING YOUR GENERATOR
SEALING WASHER
OIL DRAIN PLUG
OIL FILLER CAP/DIPSTICK
OIL DRAIN PLUG COVER
Open the oil drain plug cover from the bottom of the generator.
Place a suitable container below the engine to catch the used oil.
Remove the oil drain plug and sealing washer and drain the oil.
Reinstall the oil drain plug and a new sealing washer. Tighten the
plug securely.
Close the oil drain plug cover.
Improper disposal of engine oil can be harmful to the environment.
If you change your own oil, please dispose of the used oil properly.
Put it in a sealed container, and take it to a recycling center. Do not
discard it in a trash bin, dump it on the ground, or pour it down the
drain.
With the generator in a level position, fill with the recommended oil
(see page
) to the upper limit of the oil filler neck.
Reinstall the oil filler cap/dipstick securely.
Reinstall the oil maintenance cover.
Wash your hands with soap and water after handling used oil.
