2. After selecting a favorite contact, you can do any of the following to communicate with that contact:
Ⅲ Touch the contact’s name, phone number, or email address that is displayed below the contact picture
to call or send an email message. For more information about making a call or composing and
sending an email message, see “Using Phone Features” on page 57 and “Email Messaging” on page
158.
Ⅲ Touch one of the following icons to choose a phone number to call, or to send a message:
The icons shown depend on available contact information. For example, the home phone icon ( )
is shown only if the stored contact information includes a home phone number.
Ⅲ Touch the picture of the favorite contact on the center screen to open the Contact Details screen, and
then choose how to communicate with the contact. See “The Contact Details Screen” on page 42 for
details.
The All Contacts Screen
Touch All Contacts on the Home tab or People tab to display the All Contacts screen where you can view and
manage all your contacts. The All Contacts screen has the following tabs:
1. All . Lists all your stored contacts. This tab lets you create, delete, or edit a contact. Touch a contact to
open the Contact Details screen. You can also use this tab to open or update My Contact Card.
2. Favorites . Shows the favorite contacts that you have added to the People tab. You can also add favorite
contacts through this tab.
3. Updates and Events . Displays notifications when there are updates that occurred in Facebook. This tab also
shows events of your stored contacts. See “Facebook Updates and Events” on page 42 for details.
4. Call History . Lists all your dialed numbers, and received and missed calls. See “Call History” on page 63
for details.
Call the contact’s mobile phone.
Call the contact’s work/office phone.
Call the contact’s home phone.
Compose and send a text message.
Compose and send an email message.
Tip To remove the current favorite contact, touch Menu > Remove Favorite .
