• The changes made by the wwidmgr command do not take effect until after the next system
initialization, so the next step is to use the initialize command.
• After initialization, the console show device command displays each FC adapter, followed
by the paths through that adapter to each of the defined FC disks. The path-independent
OpenVMS device name for each FC disk is displayed in the second column.
