pg 8 877-HAAN DIRECT / 877-422-6347 www.haanusa.com

HELPFUL HAAN HINT:
Never leave the appliance in one
spot on any surface for any period
of time. Always place your Floor
Sanitizer on the Floor Protector/
Resting Mat when stationary and
make sure the floor sanitizer is
turned off not in use.

1) Remove all parts from the packaging.

2) Assemble the unit as described on page 6.

3) Place the Floor Sanitizer on the Floor Protector/

Resting Mat and remove the water tank by

pressing the water tank removal button. (Fig 1a)

4) Grasp the water tank, pull out and up to remove.

(Fig 1b)

5) Turn the cap on the water tank counter-clockwise

to open it and fill the tank with water. (Fig 2)

6) After filling the water tank with water, firmly

turn the cap clockwise to close. Insert the tank,

cap down, into the receptacle in the main unit

and push forward until it clicks into place. (Fig 3)

7) Press the STEAM ON/OFF button found on the

front of the unit. It takes approximately 30

seconds for the floor sanitizer to heat up.

8) Place an Ultra-Microfiber pad on the floor with

the ‘hook & loop’ side facing up.

9) Raise the unit off the Floor Protector/Resting Mat

and lightly press it down onto the Ultra-Microfiber

pad. You are now ready to steam clean and sanitize

your floor. (Fig 4)

10) Push and pull the floor sanitizer slowly across

the floor to thoroughly steam clean each section.

11) When there is no more water in the water tank,

you will hear a vibration sound from the main

unit. To refill the water tank and continue to

sanitize, turn your floor sanitizer off. Unplug the

unit from the electrical wall outlet and remove

the water tank and refill the water tank as before.

12) When you have finished using the Floor Sanitizer,

turn it ‘OFF’, place it on the Floor Protector/

Resting Mat and wait until the Floor Sanitizer

cools down for approximately five (5) minutes
