Connecting the USB Charging/Communication Cable for the Dolphin 6500
Slide the USB cable unit onto the bottom of the terminal lining up the terminal’s I/O connector to the cable
unit’s connector to facilitate USB communication between the Dolphin terminal and the host workstation.
Charging Terminal with USB Cable
Not only can you communicate between the terminal and the host using the Dolphin Charging/
Communication cable, but you can also trickle charge the terminal. To charge the main battery using the
USB cable, select Start > Settings > Control Panel >USB charging. The default setting is Off. If you
select the USB charging option, you can choose either 100mA or 500mA.
