If you use them properly, head restraints are intended to help
protect your head and neck in a collision.

Adjust the head restraints so that the cushion contacts the back
of your head when you move your head rearward.

If you have a front bench seat, you can adjust the front seat
head restraints for your comfort and protection. The head
restraints on other seats are not adjustable.

To move the front seat forward or rearward:

Find the adjustment lever at the lower left corner of the
front seat.

Push the lever to the left to unlock the seat.

Move the seat to the desired position.
