these keys. To switch into numeric keypad
mode, press the NumLk/ScrLk. You can now
enter numerals 0 through 9, perform addition
( + ), subtraction ( ), multiplication ( * ), or
division ( / ), and enter decimal points ( . )
using the keys designated as ten-key function
keys. The keys in the numeric keypad are
marked on the lower right of the key to
indicate their secondary functions.

To return these keys to their normal character
function, press the NumLk/ScrLk key again.

P O I N T

If you are using an optional external
numerical keypad pressing the NumLk
key will activate the external keypad
and the indicator will come on, without
changing the function of any keys on
your keyboard.

Cursor Keys
The cursor keys are the four arrow keys on the
keyboard which allow you to move the cursor
up , down , left

and right

in applica-

tions; in Windows such as the Explorer window
it moves the "focus" (moves to select the next
item up, down, left, or right.)
