NOTE

Setting the limit too high on a one-piece door will

cause the opener to “buck” when starting down.

NOTE

If the door is reversing after contacting the floor, the

limit is set too far toward the door and needs to be set

back.

Engage the carriage.

Flip the carriage release lever up and lift the door manually
until the carriage engages with the bullet.

door and making adjustments until it opens fully.

WARNING

Too much force will prevent safe operation of the garage
door. Someone could be seriously injured or killed if the
door force is set too high. A closing door may not reverse
properly and someone could be pinned under it. An
opening door might not stop when going up and
someone hanging on the door could be pinned between
the door and the header. Never increase the force above
the minimum required to move the door.Never adjust the
force to compensate for a sticking or binding door.
Perform this safety check once a month.
