TV OPERATION

Adjust the volume level by pressing the VOLUME Up or

Down button. The volume level will be indicated on the

screen by green bands and a green numerical display

between 0 and 24 where 0 is the lowest setting and 24 is

the loudest.

For proper operation, before selecting channels, they
must be set into the TV’s program memory, see page 22.

Press and release the CHANNEL Up 1 or Down 2 button.

The TV automatically stops at the next channel set into

memory. This will not operate if channels are not set into

memory.

Direct Program Selection buttons (0 - 9)

Use these buttons to select a channel. The channel number

will appear at the top right corner of the screen.

• Select a channel using the Direct Channel Selection

buttons 3 and the channel will change in approximately

two seconds.

Select the TV or CATV option as described on page 17.

Press the POWER button to turn on the TV; the POWER

indicator will light green.

TV:

If using a

VHF/UHF

antenna.

CATV:

If using Cable

TV.

NOTES:

• When TV/CATV option is set to TV, only channels up

to 69 can be selected. When set to CATV, channels

up to 125 can be selected.

• If an invalid channel is selected, the display will revert

to the original channel.

FAQs:

Why do I only receive 69 channels, when my cable goes much higher?

TV/CATV option must be set to CATV when using cable, see page 17.

Why are some channels scrambled?

You must subscribe to these channels through your cable company.
