5.3 Preparing the Transition Module
The CPCI-6115-MCPTM (refer to Figure 5-2 ) is used in conjunction with the CPCI-6115
baseboard. It includes the following features (IP version):
z One 50-pin Type II connector for IDE CompactFlash cards or microdrives
z Two PMC I/O modules (PIM)
z Four asynchronous serial ports (COM1, COM2, COM3 and COM4)
z I/O signal multiplexing (IOMUX)
