The HDD Recovery Process
System Recovery Program
Your system comes with a System Recovery program that can help you to diagnose and
solve problems you found on your system. It consists of the following options:
•
Run System Restore Utility– This option will activate the System Restore function,
which is a component of Windows XP and Vista that you can use to restore your
computer to its previous state without losing your personal data files.
•
Run System Recovery – This option will wipe out the entire hard disk and restore
your system back to its original state as it was shipped out from the factory.
•
Run Disk Diagnostic Utility – This option will help you to detect disk errors and
attempt to repair errors automatically.
1. During system boot up, press on Ctrl + F9 keys on keyboard to activate the System
Recovery.
