Type explorer and click OK to display Windows Explorer.
Windows Explorer may appear slightly different than in the image. There are variations between Windows
versions and you can configure Windows Explorer as you like.

Double-click My Computer.

Double-click the Motorola CD icon (D: in the image).

Double-click remove or remove.exe to run the Remove utility from the
Motorola SURFboard Wireless Cable
Modem Gateway
CD-ROM. The SURFboard Cable Modem USB Driver Removal window is displayed:

Be sure the USB cable is disconnected.

Click Remove Driver. Informational messages are displayed on the SURFboard Cable Modem USB Driver
Removal window.
After you remove the USB driver, re-install it following “
Setting Up a USB Driver in Windows XP
”. If you continue to
have problems, contact your cable service provider.
