Personal Password and Name Response Options

Changing your Password

Once you change your password from the initial password to your own
personal password, nobody else can enter your mailbox except you.
Passwords must be 4 to 7 digits long. You should choose a combination of
letters or numbers that you can remember easily and only you will know.

1. Log into Voice Mail. See “Accessing the Voice Mail Service After Set

Up” on page 33.

2. Press

to reach the Personal Options Menu.

3. Press

to reach Personal Preferences.

4. Press

to change your password.

5. Enter a 4- to 7-digit password.

Name Response Options

Your name response is a recording of your name only, without a greeting. It
serves as the identification tag for your mailbox. When you send, reply to,
or copy a message, your name response will precede your message. Your
name response will also play as a confirmation when someone else is
sending you a message or adding your mailbox number to their Group List.

Recording/Playing/Deleting Your Name Response:

1. Log into Voice Mail. See “Accessing the Voice Mail Service After Set

Up” on page 33.

2. Press

to reach the Personal Options Menu.

3. Press

to reach Personal Preferences.

4. Press

to reach Name Options.

to play your name response.

• Press

to record your name response.

• Press

to delete your name response.

Message Forwarding

This feature allows you to program your phone to automatically forward
incoming Voice Mail messages to another mailbox. Message Forwarding
insures your messages get attention when you are not available.
