INPUT_USE_SECURE_FTP
parameter specifies whether FTP (File Transfer Protocol) or SFTP (secure FTP)
is used. To use FTP, specify the value
false
. Otherwise, to use SFTP, specify the value
true
. The default value
is
false
.
To use the
sftp
command, you must have an SSH client installed on the servers where the Bulk input files reside
and where the DataChannel is running. Typically, an SSH client is installed by default on most Unix systems. For
more information, see your operating system documentation or the
sftp
manpage.
Note: You cannot do the following:
• Use an FTP client to connect to an SFTP server
• Connect to an FTP server with a client that supports only SFTP
