PROBLEM
SOLUTION
Nebulizer overheats. The
nebulizer has an internal
thermal protector to
prevent the device from
overheating. If the internal
temperature reaches the
preset level, the unit will
automatically shut down, and
the power LED will turn
RED.
Turn the unit OFF for a minimum of 40
minutes to allow the nebulizer to cool.
The nebulizer does not
operate.
Check all power sources to the nebulizer.
Push the ON/OFF button again.
Medication does not nebu-
lize properly.
Check for proper connection of the tubing
adapter.
Make sure the nebulizer is in an upright position
and not tilted beyond 30º.
Make sure the nebulizer is not empty.
Clean the nebulizer as described in the manual.
Make sure the cone has been properly placed in
the nebulizer cup.
Replace the nebulizer.
Check the intake filter and replace it if it is dirty.
Nebulizer delivers no mist.
Make sure the cone is in the cup and properly
seated.
