NOTE
• Before connecting or disconnecting an external

device, press [VOLUME ] repeatedly to set the
volume of this system to the minimum. You can
also use the [VOL –] control on the main unit.

• Select the appropriate setting for “DIGITAL

AUDIO OUTPUT” according to the connected
device. Refer to page 35.

• You can output the audio signal from the

[OPTICAL DIGITAL OUTPUT] terminal when
“DVD/CD” is selected as the source in the dis-
play window.

When you connect this system with an amplifier-
built-in subwoofer (not supplied), you can enjoy a
more dynamic bass sound. Refer to the manual of
the subwoofer for details.

• Connect the power cable after you complete the

other connections.

• The [STANDBY] lamp on the main unit lights up.
