* 5 Displayed only when “Mode” is set to “User.”
* 6 Displayed only when one of the following sources
is selected – FM, AM and CD.
* 3 Displayed only when “Mode” is set to “Source.”
* 4 What appears actually here—source name—varies
according to the “Source” setting.
• Once: While showing the disc information:
scrolls the disc information only once.
While showing the DAB text: scrolls
the detailed DAB text only once.
• Auto: While showing the disc information:
repeats the scroll
(in 5-second intervals).
While showing the DAB text: scrolls
the detailed DAB text.
• Off: While showing the disc information:
cancels scroll mode.
While showing the DAB text: shows
only headline if any.
To select the dimmer mode—Dimmer
When you turn on the car headlights, the display
automatically dims (Auto Dimmer).
When shipped from the factory, Auto Dimmer
mode is activated.
• Auto: Activates Auto Dimmer.
• Off: Cancels Auto Dimmer.
• On: Always dims the display.
Note:
Auto Dimmer equipped for this unit may not work
correctly on some vehicles, particularly on those
having a control dial for dimming.
In this case, set the dimmer mode to “On” or “Off.”
To set the movie demo—MovieDemo
When shipped from the factory, the movie demo
has been activated (“Interval” is selected).
• Interval: If no operation is done for about 20
seconds, the movie demo and
playback source indication
alternately appears on the display.
• All Time: If no operation is done for about 20
seconds, the movie demo
automatically starts.
• Off: Cancels the movie demo.
To set the source animation on the display—
SRC Anime
When changing the source, the display shows the
source animation. If you do not want this animation,
you can turn it off.
• On: The source animation appears just
after you change the source.
• Off: Cancels the source animation.
To select the scroll mode for disc
information and the DAB text—Scroll
You can select the scroll mode for disc information
and for the DAB radio text (DLS: Dynamic Label
Segment).
