An animated battery icon is displayed on the main screen. The icon
provides an indication of whether the battery is being charged or is
fully charged.

A red charge indicator light means the battery is charging.

A green indicator light means the battery is at least 90 percent

charged.

Note

: It takes approximately 4 hours to fully recharge a completely drained

standard battery. With the Samsung approved LiIon battery, you can recharge the
battery before it drains completely.

Using a microSD Memory Card in Your Phone

Your phone is capable of supporting a memory storage media known as a
microSD

TM

memory card. This card is the newest standard of flash memory

specifically designed for use with ultra-small mobile phones and other devices. It is
ideal for storing media-rich files such as music, videos, and photographs in your
phone.
The maximum storage size for this media card is 32 GB.

Note

: Compatibility with all high capacity microSD

TM

memory cards is not

guaranteed.

Installing the microSD

TM

Memory Card

Your phone has a memory card slot on the upper right side. You can install a
microSD

TM

card to provide additional memory for storing files (such as sound files

and photos) in your phone.

To install the card:

1.

Locate the memory slot on the right side of the phone and pull out and
turn the plastic cover.

2.

Insert the microSD

TM

card—pin side facing you and smaller end

pointing toward the phone—into the memory card slot.
