uncheck the items you do not want to
measure, then press

The confirmation screen, asking whether
you are ready to start measurement,
appears.

The measurement results is registered as
the position you selected in step 1.

Repeat step 1 to 4 to register another
seating position.

To name the seating position

You can rename the position name.

You can move the input position backward
and forward by pressing

B/b.

Repeat step 4 to input a character one
by one, then press

The name you entered is registered.

Speaker Settings menu

You can adjust each speaker manually.
You can also adjust the speaker levels after the
Auto Calibration is completed.

Note

The speaker settings are only for the current seating
position.

Select “Speaker Pattern” according to the
speaker system which you are using. Select the
speaker pattern before you perform Auto
Calibration.

Lets you set the SPEAKERS SURROUND
BACK/FRONT HIGH/BI-AMP/FRONT B
terminals for a bi-amplifier or speakers front B
connection.

Note

When you change the connection from a bi-
amplifier or speakers front B to surround back or
front high speakers connection, set “Sur Back
Assign” to “OFF”, then set up the speakers again.
See “Auto Calibration” (page 42) or “Manual
