• To add music stored on a remote computer or a NAS device, select Add music

stored in folders that are currently shared on my network.

To update your music index

If you add new music to a folder that is already indexed, you can update your music
index to add this music to your library.

1.

From the Music menu, select Update Music Index Now.

Click Yes to confirm.

The message, "updating music index" appears at the bottom of the screen. When the
update is complete, the message "ready" appears.

Click to select a music folder you
have music stored in (all subfolders
will automatically be added.)

Type a network path for the music folder
(\\Name\Sharename, where Name is the
network name for your computer or NAS device,
and Sharename is the name of the top level
shared directory), or click Browse to search for it.

If this folder is not shared anonymously, type the
user name and password of a user with rights to
access this folder.
