You can set the receiver to turn off automatically
at a specified time by using the remote.

Press ALT, then press SLEEP repeatedly
while the power is on.

Each time you select or press SLEEP, the
display changes cyclically as follows:
2:00:00

t 1:30:00 t 1:00:00 t 0:30:00 t

OFF
While using Sleep Timer, “SLEEP” lights up in
the display.

Tip

To check the remaining time before the receiver turns
off, press ALT, then press SLEEP. The remaining time
appears in the display.

Set the SPEAKERS switch according to the
front speakers you want to drive.

* When the IMPEDANCE SELECTOR is set to

“8

Ω”, connect the speakers with a nominal

impedance of 16 ohm or higher. When the
IMPEDANCE SELECTOR is set to “4

Ω”, connect

the speakers with a nominal impedance of 8 ohms or
higher. For details, see “Speaker impedance”
page 17.
