Internal consultation calls

You can call an internal user (e.g. to consult with him) while speaking with an external

caller. You are automatically reconnected to the external user when you end this inter-

nal call.

Accepting/rejecting call waiting during an internal call

If you get an external call while conducting an internal call, you will hear the call wait-

ing tone (short tone). The caller's number or name will appear in the display if Calling

Line Identification is enabled.

The external caller hears the wait melody.

Select handset and press the top half of the key.
End consultation call:

Press the display key to open the menu.

Accept Call Waiting

Select the menu item and confirm. The internal call

is ended. You are connected to the external caller.

Reject external call:

Reject Call Waiting

OK

Select the menu item and confirm. The call waiting

tone is deactivated. You are still connected to the

internal caller.

If you reject the call waiting tone on your handset, it can still be heard on

other registered handsets.
