CAUTION

HOT STEAM WILL ESCAPE WHEN DOOR IS BEING OPENED. TO PREVENT BURNS KEEP HANDS AND
FACE AWAY FROM STEAM.

To save water and electricity, set the Cook-Idle switch to IDLE MODE and/or turn the control lever to OFF when the
steamer is not in use. Idle Mode will hold the water temperature in the range 120°F to 190°F. When ready to cook,
set the Cook-Idle switch to COOK MODE and wait approximately 2-3 minutes before starting to cook food.

Suggested cooking times for various foods are shown in the table in the following section.

Pan specifications are shown on page 4.

The door may be opened or closed at any time. The steamer temporarily shuts off while the door is open.

Timer can be used as a reminder to the operator. The timer does NOT turn the steamer on or off!

When the Low Water indicator light turns ON, pour additional water into the water trough on the top of the steamer.

Periodically check drain pan for water accumulation, empty drain pan if necessary.
