NOTES

During timer recording, four different error messages may appear on the screen as below.

- Check start time: Appears when the recording time is not set one minute later than the current time. It takes about one minute to be ready for timer

recording.

- Invalid schedule time: Appears when the recording time is wrong, i.e., when the end time is not later than the start time.
- Reserve time conflict!: Appears when recoding times are duplicated.
- Check recordable device!: Appears when there is no device connected with a FireWire cable.

To delete error messages, first recall the scheduled list using the BACK, ENTER, and MENU buttons on the remote control and set

timer recording programs again.

The Timer Recording feature operates only when a D-VHS device is connected.
• You can set up to six programs with timer recording.

The recording time can range from the present time to six months and may depend on the broadcaster’s conditions.

The Set-Top Box should be turned off at least thirty seconds before the recording time. A warning message, “You have a reservation”

will appear on the screen three minutes before the recording time.

The recording mode will be automatically set in the D-VHS device. When an analog program is recorded, the mode will be set to

“standard.”
