grounding spark plug near cylinder plug hole, otherwise serious personal injury may result.

Adjust.

Clean fins.

Chain tension incorrect

Set correctly.

As cooling fins clogged, air does not pass well

Disassemble and remove carbon.

High-speed needle setting incorrect

Refer to Table 1.

Cylinder chromium plating peeled or worn out

Clean as necessary.

Readjust.

Excessive deposits in combustion chamber

Replace or clean.

Clean as necessary.

Readjust.

Press lightly.

Use fuel with correct mixing ratio. Never use
gasoline of poor quality.

Chain saw pressed against tree too firmly

Replace.

Clutch shoe worn out

Refill.

No oil in tank

Adjust.

Oil delivery incorrect

Rinse tank and fill with new oil..

Oil contaminated with dust

Use oil with correct viscosity for sum-
mer or winter.

Oil viscosity inappropriate
