Connecting a Hi-Fi
1. Connect a suitable optical lead from the E socket of the TV to the optical
socket of your MD/DAT player.
2. Follow the instructions in your MD/DAT instruction manual if you wish to
record on to your MD/DAT player.
1. Connect a phono jack lead from the D sockets of the TV to your Hi-Fi
(refer to your Hi-Fi instruction manual).
2. Use the ‘ Audio-out vol.’ option in the ‘Sound Adjustment’ menu to adjust
the volume level (refer to page 24).
