Using x-DJ

Press x-DJ.
The channel selection display appears and
the unit plays the main part of the
displayed track.

Press / to select the desired
channel.
The unit plays the main part of the first
track in the selected channel repeatedly.

Press / to select the desired
track in the channel.
Each time you press /, the unit plays
the main part of the selected track.
If you press ENTER, the unit starts
playing the selected track from its
beginning.

Tip
If the unit is turned off and enters standby mode
while an x-DJ channel is selected, CH. 001 will appear
the next time you turn on the unit, regardless of
which channel was last selected.
Using Music Surfin’
If you press the Music Surfin’ button while playing
a channel in x-DJ, the following channels are
temporarily created using the tracks in the “GIGA
JUKE” Music Server.

(ARTIST) button: ARTIST channel
containing tracks by the currently selected
artist.

(YEAR) button: YEAR channel containing
tracks from the same era as the currently
selected track.

(MOOD) button: MOOD channel
containing tracks with a mood similar to that of
the currently selected track.

(ALBUM) button: ALBUM channel
containing tracks by the currently selected
album.
For example, if you press the (artist) button
while listening to your favorite artist, the unit
assembles all the tracks by that artist and puts
them into a temporary channel that you can listen
to.
If there is only one track that can be assembled to
a channel, the channel cannot be selected.

Play an x-DJ channel.
The x-DJ playback display appears.

Press the desired Music Surfin’ button
( ARTIST, YEAR, MOOD, or
ALBUM) on the remote control.
The selected channel appears.

Press / to select the desired
track, and then press ENTER.
The unit starts playing the selected track.
To return to the x-DJ channel, press the
Music Surfin’ button selected in step 2.
Other operations
To Do the following
Pause playback Press  during playback.
Press  again to resume
playback.
Fast-rewind or fast-
forward the current
track
Press and hold /.
Go to the beginning
of the current track,
previous track, or
next track.
Press / on the
remote control repeatedly.
Stop x-DJ or Music
Surfin’
Press  to turn off the
unit. The next time you
turn on the unit, CH. 001
appears.
