Press DISPLAY when the system is
in stop mode.
The Control Menu appears.

Press X / x to select [SETUP],
then press .
The options for [SETUP] appear.

Press X / x to select [CUSTOM], then
press .
The Setup Display appears.

Press X / x repeatedly to select
[SPEAKER SETUP], then press or
c .

Press X / x repeatedly to select [TEST
TONE], then press or c .

Press X / x repeatedly to select [ON],
then press .
You will hear the test tone from each
speaker in sequence.

From your listening position, adjust the
value of [LEVEL (FRONT)] or [LEVEL
(SURROUND)] using
C / X / x / c .
The test tone is emitted from only the
speaker which you are adjusting.

Press when you have finished
making adjustments.

Press X / x repeatedly to select [TEST
TONE], then press .

Press X / x repeatedly to select [OFF],
then press .
Note
• When you adjust the speaker settings, the sound cuts
off for a moment.
• The test tone signals are not output from the HDMI
OUT jack.
Placing the surround speaker
(L) in the (R) position
Depending on the location of the wall outlet
(mains), you can also place the surround speaker
(L) (with the IR receiver) in the (R) position if
necessary.

Press AMP MENU.

Press X / x repeatedly until “SL SR
REVERSE” appears in the front panel
display, then press
or c .

Press X / x to select the setting.
The default setting is underlined.
• OFF: Sets the surround speaker (L) (with
the IR receiver) in the (L) position.
• ON: Sets the surround speaker (L) (with
the IR receiver) in the (R) position.

Press .

Press AMP MENU.
The AMP menu turns off.
