3.1 What components are required?
In order to control the conveyor belt, you will need the components shown:
• Power supply for the control components
• CPU 312C with integrated input and output module
• Mounting rail for installing the modules
• Momentary contact switch
• Motor for driving the conveyor belt (optional)
• PC with STEP 7 Lite including Service Pack 2
• PC Adapter USB for connecting the PC with the CPU 312C
Note
If you do not have a motor,
you can still implement the
example. In this case, you will
observe the LEDs on the digi-
tal outputs of the CPU 312C.
