few seconds.

Emergency number

(SOS)

Only to be used in real emergencies!
By pressing the

§SOS§

soft key you can

make an emergency call on any net-

work without a SIM card and without

entering a PIN. (Please note that this

option is not available in all

countries.)

Switching on your phone

for the first time

Time/date

During initial set up, the phone first

prompts you to check the date and

time. After that, you can set the

clock so that it displays the correct

time. You will not have to make this

setting again.

First enter the date

(day/month/year),

then the time

(24-hour format).

Press this key. The time

and date are updated.

Copying SIM addresses

The first time the SIM card is insert-

ed, the entries on it can be copied

into the Addressbook memory.You

can interrupt the copying procedure

to, for example, receive a call, and

then relaunch the copying process

from settings in Phonebook.
You can also copy data from the

SIM card at a later time (see

page 23).
