ed against misuse by several security

codes.

PIN control

The PIN is usually requested each

time the phone is switched on. You

can deactivate this feature but if you

do so, you risk unauthorised use of

the phone. To be able to use all avail-

able security codes, you must have

the PIN control activated. Some serv-

ice providers do not permit deacti-

vating the control.

sonal identification number).

cards after the wrong PIN has

been entered repeatedly.

Barring

Used to set restrictions that

prevent calling to certain types

of numbers.
