■ Conexión de la videocámara a un
PC con el cable DV
1. Encienda la videocámara
colocando el interruptor de
encendido en la modalidad PLAY.
2. Conecte el cable DV al terminal
DV de la videocámara que se
encuentra en la parte inferior del
lado izquierdo.
■ Si el PC tiene un puerto DV de
4 patillas (la mayoría de
portátiles con soporte DV
utilizan terminales de 4
patillas), utilice un cable DV de
4 patillas a 4 patillas.
3. Conecte el otro lado del cable DV al puerto DV del PC.
■ Aparece el indicador DV en el monitor LCD.
■ Grabación utilizando una conexión DV
1. Ejecute el software de captura de vídeo y defina la fuente de
entrada para la videocámara.
■ Para más detalles sobre la selección de la fuente de entrada a
través del software, consulte la documentación del producto.
2. Pulse el botón (PLAY/STILL) para empezar la transferencia.
■ Aparece el vídeo grabado en la pantalla del PC.
3. Haga clic en el botón REC en la pantalla del PC utilizando el botón
izquierdo del botón.
4. Para detener la grabación, haga clic en el botón (STOP) de la
pantalla del PC.
■ Para grabar con la conexión DV
1. Pulse el botón START/STOP para activar la modalidad REC PAUSE.
■ Aparecerá PAUSE <PAUSA> en la pantalla LCD.
2. Inicie la reproducción en el otro aparato al tiempo que sigue las
imágenes en el monitor.
3. Pulse el botón START/STOP para comenzar la grabación.
■ Si desea detener momentáneamente la grabación, pulse de
nuevo el botón START/STOP.
4. Para detener la grabación, pulse el botón (STOP).
✤ Al emplear esta cámara como grabador, es posible que las imágenes
que aparecen en el monitor se vean de forma irregular. No obstante,
esto no afecta a las imágenes que se graban.

■ To connect your Camcorder to a PC
using DV cable
1. Turn your camcorder on by setting
the Power Switch to PLAY mode.
2. Connect the DV cable to your
camcorder’s DV terminal which is
located on the bottom left side.
■ If your PC has a 4-pin DV port
(most laptops with DV support
use 4-pin terminals), use a 4-
pin to 4-pin DV cable.
3. Connect the other side of the DV cable to the DV port of the PC.
■ The DV indicator appears on the LCD monitor.
■ To Record Using a DV Connection
1. Run your Video Capturing Software and set the input source to
your camcorder.
■ For further details on selecting the input source through the
software, refer to the product’s documentation.
2. Press the (PLAY/STILL) button to start the transfer.
■ Recorded video is displayed on the PC screen.
3. Click on the REC button on the PC screen using the left button
of the mouse.
4. To stop recording, click the (STOP) button on the PC screen.
■ To Record Using a DV Connection
1. Press the START/STOP button to begin REC PAUSE mode.
■ PAUSE is displayed on the LCD monitor.
2. Start playback on the other DV device while you monitor the
picture.
3. Press the START/STOP button to start recording.
■ If you want to pause recording momentarily, press the
START/STOP button again.
4. To stop recording, press the (STOP) button.
✤ When using this camcorder as a recorder, the pictures that appear
on the monitor may seem uneven, however recorded pictures will
not be affected.
