The Camcorder: Preparation
Using the Lithium Ion Battery Pack
1. Attach the Battery Pack to the device.
2. Connect the AC Power Adapter to the AC Power Cord and
connect the AC Power Cord to a wall outlet.
3. Connect the DC cable to the DC jack on the device.
4. Turn the device off and the charging indicator will start to
flash, showing that the battery is charging.
5. When the battery is fully charged,
disconnect the battery pack and the AC
Power Adapter from the device.
✤ The amount of continuous recording
time available depends on:
-
The type and capacity of the
battery pack you are using.
- How often the Zoom / flash is
used.
- Type of use
(Camcorder/Camera/With LCD
monitor etc.).
- Ambient temperature.
It is recommended to have additional battery packs available.
✤ Even when the power switched off, the battery pack will still discharge if
it is left attached to the device.
✤ The Battery Pack may be charged a little at the time of purchase.
✤ Fully discharging the Lithium battery pack is not required since there is
no memory effect.
✤ For prolonged use of the Battery Pack, remove the Battery Pack from
the camcorder after use/charging.

Utilización de la batería de iones de litio
1. Conecte la batería al dispositivo.
2. Conecte el adaptador de CA al cable de CA y conecte este
último a una toma de corriente.
3. Conecte el cable de CC a la toma de CC del dispositivo.
4. Apague el dispositivo y el indicador de carga comenzará a
parpadear, lo que indica que la batería se está cargando.
5. Cuando la batería esté completamente
cargada, desconéctela del dispositivo y
desconecte también el adaptador de CA.
✤ El tiempo disponible de grabación
continuada depende de:
- El tipo y la capacidad de la batería que
use.
- La frecuencia con que se emplee el
zoom y el flash.
- Tipo de uso (Videocámara / Cámara /
Con monitor LCD, etc.).
- Temperatura ambiental.
Se recomienda tener disponible una batería adicional.
✤ Incluso en el caso de que se deje apagado el interruptor de encendido,
la batería se seguirá descargando si se deja acoplada al dispositivo.
✤ Es posible que la batería esté un poco cargada en el momento de la
compra.
✤ La descarga total de la batería de litio no es necesaria ya que no tiene
ningún efecto en la memoria.i
✤ Para el uso prolongado de la batería, retire la batería de la videocámara
tras utilizarla o cargarla.
