Using a different telephone
in the same way as your own

You can log on to another telep hone belonging to the
HiPath 4000 or Hicom 300 E/H system via a personal
identification number (PIN) (also telephones of net-
worked HiPath 4000 or Hicom 300 E/H systems, for ex-
ample, at other branches of your company). At the other
telephone you can* then:

make calls and assign the charges to cost centers

make calls and assign the charges to sp ecific
projects

retrieve messages from your mailbox

use your individual speed dialing numbers and also
a number that has been saved at your own tele-
phone for redialing

use reper tory d ialing keys, provided that they are
configured in the same way as at your own tele-
phone

enter timed reminders

Using an internal PIN, you can have your calls diverted
to a telephone in the office or department where you
will be for a temporary period (call forwarding - follow
me).

Identifying yourself with PIN and dialing

Precondition: You have been assigned a PIN by Sys-
tem Support. You require an internal PIN for calls within
your own HiPath 40 00 or Hicom 300 E/H system, while
for calls involving other HiPath 400 0 or Hicom 300 E/H
systems in the integrated network you require a net-
work-wide PIN.

Press the key. The lamp lights up.

Enter the service code
(61 for PIN 1, 62 for PIN 2, etc.).

Select and confirm.

Select and confirm.
If you have several PINs and wish to use another one,
select the other PIN.
