During Calls
The MD Evolution Communication Platform allows you to handle
calls in many different ways. You can make an inquiry, transfer the
call or create a conference, mute the microphone and ringer,
change the dial mode or put the call on hold to perform other
tasks.
Handsfree Speaking
You can switch to handsfree speaking (and back to standard
speaking procedure) at any time during a call. ¼
Press to switch handsfree speaking on or off.
During handsfree speaking, you are connected to the caller via the
loudspeaker and microphone.
DTMF Tones Sending
During calls at times, you are required to communicate interactively
through the online transmission of various dialling codes without
your dialling being interpreted by your local facility. See also the
section “ DTMF End-to-End Dialling ” on page 48. ¾
