Operating the answering machine (on CX253isdn)

Playing a message to another caller
During an external call you can play messages from the answering machine to the
person you are calling.
Precondition: The same receive MSN is assigned to the base station (or handset) and
the answering machine.
During the call:
Playing back memos
Precondition: You have selected an answering machine (page 61).
i Open the menu.
s
Play message
Select the menu item and confirm.
s
AM1
If necessary, select answering machine and confirm,
e.g. AM1.
~
If AM lock is set (page 78): enter the answering
machine PIN and confirm.
Information about the oldest message is displayed
on the screen. The message is not played back.
s
W Select message and open the submenu.
s
Playback Select the menu item and confirm. The playback
starts. The other party can hear the message being
played.
End playback:
W Press the display key to open the submenu.
s
Exit
Select the menu item and confirm. The playback
stops.
