To tune in ensembles and services

See the table below to tune to ensembles and services.

Do the following:

Press down > or . until “Channel XXX”
is displayed. Each press of the button
changes the channel.

Press > or . repeatedly.

Press down ? or / until “Seek Up”or
“Seek Down” appears in the display.
The indication turns off when the unit
detects a service.

Press ? or / repeatedly.

Only when an ensemble is recieved.

Automatic updating of the ensemble list

When you perform the BTM function for the first time, all
the ensembles available in your area are automatically
stored. When you perform the BTM function again, the
contents of these lists are updated in accordance with the
conditions described on page 50.
An ensemble is added to the respective list when it is
received during Automatic Tuning or Manual Tuning but
is unlisted.
An unlisted ensemble is also deleted from the respective
list when:
• you select an ensemble from the list, but it cannot be

received.

• you perform Automatic Tuning or Manual Tuning to

receive a listed ensemble, service, or the component, but
it cannot be received.

Notes
The following
indications may appear
in the ensemble and
service lists.

“Channel XXX”: the
current channel.

“poor reception”: the
reception of the
current service is too
poor for audio
reproduction.

“********”: there is
no name for the
current service.

“Not found service
label,” or “Not found
last service”: The
service which was
preset to the unit
does not exist.
