Do not touch the lens or the lens cover when you attach the lens hood.
The attached lens hood may interfere with flash operation. When you record photos with the lens hood
attached, touch (MENU)  [Show others]  [FLASH MODE] (under [PHOTO SETTINGS]
category)  [OFF] (the default setting).
An optional filter, etc., cannot be attached if the lens hood is attached.
To remove the lens hood
Turn the fixing ring in the opposite direction of when attaching and remove it.




