Important Note: Use only a Power Wheels

®

(4 Amp/hr.) battery with a Power Wheels

®

25 amp fuse installed. Use of any

other battery or fuse will damage your vehicle. Make sure that you charge the battery for at least 18 hours using the
enclosed Power Wheels 6 Volt charger before operating your vehicle for the first time. Charge the battery for at least 18
hours after each use of the vehicle. Never charge the battery longer than 30 hours. Failure to follow these instructions
may damage your battery and will void your warranty.

• If the seat is locked, use a slotted screwdriver to rotate

the lock fastener

turn to the unlocked position (

• Lift the seat and remove it from the vehicle body.

battery upright in the battery

compartment. Do not remove the battery from its
protective foam pocket.
Make sure the battery
connector extends toward the rear of the vehicle.

• Make sure a Power Wheels

®

25 amp fuse in good

condition is installed in the battery.

• Position the battery retainer over the battery with the

ends of the battery retainer aligned with the screw holes
in the vehicle body.

• Insert two #10 x

screws through the ends of the

battery retainer and into the vehicle body.

• Tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not

over-tighten.

• Plug the battery connector into the motor harness

connector.

Note: If the battery connector will not plug into the motor
harness connector, turn it over and try again! Do not force
the battery connector into the motor harness connector.

• Re-assemble the seat to the vehicle body. (See assembly

steps 19 and 20 on page 13).

Important Note: Always remember to lock the lock fastener
to prevent children from accessing the battery.
