Dividing a track

(TRACK DIVIDE)

Use the following procedure to divide a track into two by inserting a track number in its middle. For example, by inserting an
additional track number before the passage you are specially fond of, it is easy to skip to there when you play the disc later.
Note that the track numbers of the tracks located after the divided track are automatically incremented.
Fine adjustment is possible by using the preview function to listen repeatedly to the part to be divided.

Play the track to be divided.

Press the TRACK EDIT key at the desired position.

1Select “DIVIDE”. Each press switches the operation.

1 ERASE ? (Erasing one track)
2 DIVIDE ? (Dividing a track)
3 COMBINE ? (Combining tracks)
4 Editing cancelled

÷ This operation is also possible during play-pause.

2Set it.

÷ Editing is aborted if no operation has been performed for 8

seconds.

During playback, playback pause will be
reached.

When you don't want to execute fine adjustment of the
division point , press the ENTER key after step

2, and

then go to step

4. (DIVIDE ok? will be displayed.)

Execute fine adjustment for the division location.

(Preview function)

÷ Fine adjustment can be made while listening to the sound.

÷ The possible adjustment range is 32 steps before and after

from the pause location where the TRACK EDIT key has
been pressed in step
