Erasing several tracks at a time
(QUICK ERASE)
Titles (track numbers) can be selected to be erased together.
Please execute operation in stopped condition.
After editing, eject and remove the mini disc.
Select Q.ERASE.

Select the titles to be erased.
÷ Some time is required until completion of the processing.
÷ When the ENTER key is pressed during erase operation, the
not selected titles will be moved in their present order to the
end of the range being erased.
÷ When the EJECT key (0) or the ON/STANDBY key is pressed
while the “COMPLETE” indication flashes, the erase operation
may be stopped before completion.

1Select the title (track number).

Execute the erase operation.
“DISC WRITING” displayed during the minidisc ejection
operation indicates that the data associated with recording
or editing is being written on the disc. Do not apply vibration
or shock to the unit while this message is displayed.
2Set it.
When the title of track No. 3 has been selected.

To abort the operation, press the Q.EDIT key again.
÷Editing is ended when no action is taken for 8 seconds.

After confirmation, the next track number is
shown.
1Select Q.ERASE.
2Set it.
Switching is executed each time the Q.EDIT key is pressed.
1 Q.MOVE ? (Moving several tracks at a time)
2 Q.ERASE ? (Erasing several tracks at a time)
3 Editing canceled
Repeat the steps 1 and 2 to select the
titles to be erased.
Confirmation or cancellation of selected titles
1Press the Q.MOVE CHECK key for con-
firmation.
2Press the Q.MOVE CLEAR key during
display of the title to be canceled for
cancellation.
÷ The selected titles will be erased only when the Q.MOVE
CHECK key is pressed and then the Q.MOVE CLEAR key is
pressed.
÷ Each time the key is pressed, the title with the next higher
selected track No. will be displayed.
The title scrolls after the indication flashes
