Message settings

Enabled

automatically saves successfully

sent messages in the Outbox folder.

After saving the successfully sent messages, select

to view them.

Scroll through the list of messages. One of
the following indicators appears next to
each message:

View failed or pending messages

Failed or pending messages are stored in your
Outbox folder. To view messages in the Outbox
folder, select

Menu

Messaging

Outbox

.

Your list of failed or pending messages will
appear with the following symbols.

Message settings

Message settings help configure your phones text
and picture message settings.

Alerts

Choose how you want to be alerted of voicemail,
pages, or text messages. Select

Menu

Voicemail alert

and select a

ringtone from the list. (Scroll through the list to
hear the different ringtones.)
You can also select

the phone to notify you with the selected ringtone
every five minutes until you address the alert.

Auto text

Your phone comes with prewritten (auto text)
messages, such as “Please call me,” which you
can insert into the body of a text message. You can
edit these messages or create new ones. Your
phone stores up to 30 auto text messages, with up
to 100 characters per message.

and one of the following:

Highlight an auto text message and

to create a new auto

text message.

2. Enter or edit the text.

The scheduled message was sent and
delivered as scheduled. You cannot cancel
delivery of the message.

The message has been received.

The message has never been sent or has not
been sent since it was last modified. You can
cancel delivery of the message

The message has been sent to more than one
recipient.

The message is pending and will be sent when
possible. You can cancel delivery of the
message.

The message cannot be sent because service is
not available. An alert appears on your phone
if the message cannot be sent.
