Keyguard

Lock the keyguard

The keyguard locks the external number keypad
on your phone to prevent accidental keypresses
when the phone is turned on and a call is not in
progress. You can still answer or silence an
incoming call.
• To lock the keypad, press and hold the

* Shift

key.

• To unlock the keypad, select

Keyguard

and

press the

OK

key.

Set the keyguard

You can set the phone to lock the keypad
automatically when the flip is closed. Select

Menu

Settings

>

Keyguard

>

Guard on close

to activate the keyguard everytime the flip
is closed.

Sounds

Your phone has several settings for sound control.
You can select from a variety of ringtones and
control the volume.

Volume

Ringtone, Key, Earpiece, and
Speakerphone Volume

To adjust the ringtone, keypad tone, earpiece, or
speakerphone volume:
1.

2. Scroll right to increase the volume, or left to

decrease the volume.

Smart volume

To automatically adjust the volume during a call
based on surrounding noise levels, select

Ringtones

Your phone has multiple ringtones you can
choose for incoming calls. You can also assign
ringtones for contacts in your business or
personal group. Select

Sounds

Ringtones

Business ringtones

, or

Personal ringtones

and a ringtone. You can hear

the ringtones as you scroll down the list.
