Verify that the level meters are moving.

Playback will not start immediately after select-
ing a song

• When you select a project/file located in a folder other

than the current project/file, the MR-2000S is designed
to calculate the total playback time of files in the folder,
and therefore may take some time before playback can
start.
To avoid this situation, we recommend that you store
the desired songs in a play list, or use your computer to
move the desired songs into the same folder.

Sampling frequency indicator blinks

• The sampling frequency of your playback or recording

device does not match the S/P DIF or word clock.

Match the sampling frequency. If you're using 1-bit
format, you must input 44.1 kHz.

• Are the input level lowered?

• Is there sufficient hard disk space remaining?

Set the counter display to "REC REMAIN" and check
the remaining time available for recording. (

p.17)

The recording is interrupted

• Could the MR-2000S have been bumped while record-

ing?

• Could the MR-2000S have been in a location subject to

continuous vibration (such as near a motor or a bass
amp) while recording?
