a. Check throughout for dirty or bro-

ken hoses, clogged radiator, or
defective water pump.

a. Use at least 75 octane gasoline.

toggles if worn.

instructions on unit.

c. Adjust screw enough to eliminate

surge. *

d. Adjust length of control rod so

that there is from 1/32” to 1/16”
clearance between the stop pin
and the stop when the engine is
shutoff and the regulator expand-
ed. *

a. Adjust screw until speed does not

drop more than 100 RPM ± 25
RPM when arc is struck. If surge
occurs, eliminate it with the con-
trol rod. If high idle speed
changes, readjust the high idle
speed screw. *
