IMPORTANT:

When proper procedures

are followed, the meter will display HI in
virtually all cases when your result is
above 500 mg/dL (27.8 mmol/ L). The
confirmation dot color will also be dark-
er than the 350-mg/dL-sample color dot
on the Color Chart. This indicates very
high blood glucose (severe hyper-
glycemia). Follow the advice of your
Healthcare Professional.

If you get an error message, see “What to
do” in

Troubleshooting.

(Example)

If you get an error message instead of a
number as a result, you can quickly

check to see if your
glucose is very low (50
mg/dL) or very high
(350 mg/dL) prior to
troubleshooting the
error message. To
quickly see if your glu-
cose is very low (50
mg/dL) or very high
(350 mg/dL), compare
the color of the test strip confirmation
dot with the sample color dots on the
Color Chart on the test strip bottle label.

If the test strip confirmation dot color is
approximately the same as or lighter than
the “50 mg/dL” color dot, your glucose
level is very low.

If the test strip confirmation dot color is
approximately the same as or darker
than the “350 mg/dL” sample color dot,
your glucose level is very high.
